Our Equipment

Here is a list of things that we use to make our videos and maybe one or two more gadgets that make our life on the road easier. We have placed links where possible, just in case you would like to purchase the same products for yourself. Please note that if you do purchase via our Amazon links you will be helping to fund our ongoing adventure without any difference in cost to you. (If you do, then THANK YOU so much, it really is appreciated!).

This is not a complete list of absolutely everything we own, but these are some of the most important ones.

Dell XPS 15 9570 High Performance Laptop.

Intel Core i7-8750H 2.2GHz CPU. 16GB DDR4. 512GB SSD. 15.6" UHD (4K) Touchscreen 3840 x 2160 Resolution. NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050Ti 4GB Graphics. WIFI + Windows 10 Pro.

Our beast of a laptop which we use to edit our videos with, amongst other things.

Of course, just as good as this was, it wasn't 'quite' good enough for me, so I upgraded a few bits too! 😊

𝐒𝐚𝐦𝐬𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐙-𝐕𝟕𝐄𝟏𝐓𝟎𝐁𝐖 𝟗𝟕𝟎 𝐄𝐕𝐎 𝟏 𝐓𝐁 𝐕-𝐍𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐌.𝟐 𝐏𝐂𝐈 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐝 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞
Doubled the storage size and dramatically increased the read/write speed of the original one.

𝐂𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝟑𝟐𝐆𝐛 𝐃𝐃𝐑𝟒 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐲
More memory is a MUST for video and graphic editing.

𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐥 𝐃𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐖𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬-𝐀𝐂 𝟖𝟐𝟔𝟓𝐍𝐆𝐖
This replaces the original one that apparently can have issues.

𝐏𝐥𝐮𝐠𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐔𝐒𝐁 𝐂 𝐭𝐨 𝐌.𝟐 𝐍𝐕𝐌𝐞 𝐓𝐨𝐨𝐥-𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐄𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞
This great little case allows me to use the removed internal memory as an external drive.

DJI Osmo Action Camera.

Simply the best Action Camera we have ever used! What we currently (mostly) use for filming.

Oppo Reno 5G Android Smartphone.

Simply a quality Android phone. Super fast charging, 10x zoom, 256gb internal memory and a nice large 6.5" screen! Oh, and not forgetting the unique 'shark fin' selfie camera! 😁

DJI Mavic Air Drone Fly More Combo.
(We have aptly named 'Wilson 2.0' after our biggest donator)

Let's face it, DJI are the best out there for drones, and a MUST if you want the best quality drone footage. A truly awesome bit of kit. Highly recommended.

Poweroak Bluetti AC50S Power Generator.

When we need that little extra power (especially in the winter!), we use the awesome Power Generator from Bluetti. This 500Wh beastie is perfect for easily connecting and charging a multitude of devices, such as smartphones, tablets and even laptops!

Poweroak SP120 Foldable 120w Solar Panel.

This is the perfect companion for our AC50S Power Generator. So easy to connect directly to the AC50S and position at the perfect angle to get the most from the sun. Highly recommended if you are a serious user of energy on the road.

Panasonic HC-V160 8.9 Mega Pixels FULL HD Camcorder.

A great HD video camera, especially for beginners who don't want to spend a lot of money. The flip view screen is a superb feature to enable you to use this as vlogging camera.

APEMAN Underwater Action Camera 4K Wi-Fi Action Cam 20MP.

A great little cheap but good quality Action Camera that won't break the bank! Well worth it as a back up or secondary viewing angle etc. Pretty good as a main camera too! Just be aware that the sound quality is not the best.

𝐋𝐆 𝐔𝐥𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐖𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝟐𝟗" 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫.

Yes, it came with us when we moved into the Motorhome! Jan wasn't impressed, but it was seriously needed for the editing of our videos... and okay... a great monitor for gaming! 😁

G𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝟕𝟕𝟎𝐋𝐌𝐓-𝐃 𝟔.𝟗𝟓 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐡 𝐒𝐚𝐭 𝐍𝐚𝐯

Another MUST HAVE for any Motorhomer. This brilliant Sat Nav takes into account of the dimensions and weight of your vehicle so that it will never take you down road and lanes that are not suitable for you to drive on. (I'm not guaranteeing this by the way, but it is what is claimed! So far so good!). Just make sure that you allow it to upgrade itself once you have it up and running, as when we originally bought it before the released upgrade it was rubbish! Very happy with it now.

𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐠 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢 𝐂𝐚𝐫 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝟗𝟎𝐖 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫

This allows me to use my UltraWide 29" Monitor from the 12v sockets, so there is no need to turn on the inverter! Very handy especially when wild camping.

𝐓𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐜 𝐋𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝟐.𝟔𝐦

This is a fantastic bit of kit! A 2.6m high ladder that collapses down to 74 x 48 x 8 (cms). So useful, especially for ease of storage in our Motorhome.

12v 𝐂𝐂𝐓𝐕 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦

We didn't need a recording CCTV system as we really don't see the point as we live in it and if someone stole our Motorhome we wouldn't have the footage to hand anyway! But what we did want is a way of monitoring around us easily when we are parked up when wild camping. Especially at night when our blinds are shut. This does just that. And the real bonus is that it runs on 12v and hardly takes any electric! I have added my own separate power switch for the cameras though so that I don't have to leave the cameras on all the time. Apart from that, (and lack of good instructions!) a great system!

𝐀𝐩𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐧 HD 𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐃𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐜𝐚𝐦

A really good quality dashcam. Effortlessly record every journey safe in the knowledge that you are covered against idiots running into you and then denying it's their fault. The front camera is a really good quality 1080p. (That good that I now use it for my video footage in some of my videos!). The rear camera is 720p, with the only slight negative thing is that the cable to the rear camera isn't long enough to attach to the back of our Motorhome. However I have mounted this to the driver's side wing mirror which is a very handy extra camera for help with filming a different angle on our journeys. 😁
The quality is that good that for the small price they are asking, it would still be a superb purchase even if you never used the rear camera at all!
Also as a bonus, (as of our purchase date) if you leave a review on Amazon afterwards and send the link to the seller via their supplied email address, you can choose either a 32gb MicroSD card or a GPS device to connect to your Dashcam for FREE! AMAZING VALUE!
